Meet Our First Lady

Minister Lisa A. Jones is an anointed strong woman of God who has illustrated her love for God through her life testimony. She is the First Lady of the New Life Community Baptist church where God has allowed her to use her gifts of teaching, evangelizing, and ministering through praise and worship. As a pastor’s wife she demonstrates the essence of a virtuous woman to the Sisters of Faith ministry at NLCBC. Through that ministry she has organized prayer breakfasts and other events to share advice and uplift the women of God.

She accepted her calling to the ministry and was then licensed on December 9, 2006 after many years of preaching at various churches in the local area.

Despite the physical struggles that she has endured, she truly knows God as a healer and believes that everything that she has been through was all to bring glory to God by sharing with others that God is still working miracles. So many people have been encourage to believe God in what ever they are going through because of her testimony.

She has been blessed to be married for 34 years to Pastor Frederick Jones. They have two beautiful daughters, Nicole Mayfield and Tiara Jones, son-in-love, Ray Mayfield and two grandchildren, Sophia and Isabela Mayfield. Her parents, Pastor Robert and Elder Alice Christmas raised her up in church for which she is very thankful.

One of her favorite scriptures is Psalm 34:1. I will bless The Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
