Praying the Prayer of Salvation

The Prayer of Salvation is a personal decision to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It’s for those who recognize their need for forgiveness, desire a relationship with God, and want to begin a new life guided by His love, grace, and truth. Through this prayer, one invites Christ into their heart and receives the gift of eternal life.
"Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you." Jeremiah 29:12

Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, humbly acknowledging that I am a sinner in need of Your grace. I repent of my sins and ask for Your forgiveness. I surrender my heart to You and turn away from my old ways, desiring to walk in the new life You have for me.
I believe that Jesus Christ is Your only Son, that He died on the cross at Calvary for my sins, and that His precious blood was shed for my redemption. I believe that on the third day, You raised Him from the dead, conquering sin and death once and for all.
Your Word says in Romans 10:9, “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” So today, I boldly confess Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I place my full trust in Him alone for my salvation.
Thank You, Jesus, for Your boundless grace that has saved me—not by my own works, but by Your love and mercy. I know that Your grace does not lead me into sin but into a transformed life of repentance and obedience. Lord, change my heart, renew my mind, and lead me to live a life that glorifies and honors You.
Thank You, Jesus, for dying for me, for forgiving me, and for giving me the gift of eternal life. From this moment forward, I am Yours.
In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
